White Birch Resort has nine lodging units. There are 2 Entertainment 3000 sq ft
Reunion Homes which sleep up to 22 people in each one. The newest reunion home ready for May 2011 will have a
private outdoor hot tub on the deck. In 2005 we Remodeled our first
Reunion Lodge which sleeps up to 17 people. The rest of our 6 cabins have all been updated inside with new furnishings and are very clean.
All the cabins have breath taking Blackduck lake views, since they sit on bluff which is 25' above Blackduck lake. The lake front consists of about 500'x100' of well groomed lawns to the lakes edge. The west side of the resort borders the Blackduck River which flows north to Red Lake. The total resort sits on 7 acres so you'll find we have a lot of ample amount of space. We are a year round resort for families enjoying fishing,
hunting,
down hill skiing,
ice fishing, hiking,
snowmobiling and all around outdoor activities.
Why fish Blackduck Lake? Well, the survey of Blackduck Lake by the DNR in 2001 showed the highest number ever recorded for walleye. It had twice as many walleye in it compared to other lakes in its class. Blackduck Lake is stocked with around 1.3 million walleye every 2 out of 3 years. Blackduck Lake should be excellent walleye fishing for your next Minnesota family vacation at our resort. Also Bemidji MN is 25 minutes away and is on the shores of
Bemidji Lake where you can find the ever elusive muskie and northern pike. There is a walleye fishing tournament held on Bemidji Lake every year. So, walleye fishing in the
