This page will be updated weekly or more by me (Monte Sharbono) for fishing reports and ice fishing reports in northern Minnesota.

The ice is still only about 14" thick and now with this last blizzard we have another foot of snow on it so there will be trouble driving around for a while. The perch did start biting but you had to move to some unusual spots. They are full of the little worms still but are at least biting even if their belly is full. The northern are still coming in and chasing the perch away but not as bad as a couple weeks ago. Not much as far as walleye still which is unusual this year. The water is still cloudy like it has been all year.

BLACKDUCK LAKE

Bemidji Lake

Bemidji lake is going full blast right now. people are driving out on the ice with smaller vehicles but go slow. They are catching some panfish and perch on the humps with a few walleye here and there.

 Gilstad Lake

 Gilstad Lake is giving up some panfish right now.

Gull Lake

Gull Lake  is going good for Northern in the 8" to 10' of water

Pimushe Lake

 Pimushe lake is giving up some sunfish but not a lot.

Rabideau Lake

Upper Red Lake

Upper Red lake  they have 14" plus and are driving on it with pickups. Everybody has the itch to go fishing because of the late start. They are catching some walleye on the points and bars and does not seem to matter where you are at you might get them and 20' away you will not catch a thing.

Turtle River Lake
