General Policies at White Birch Resort in Northern MN
We are open and ready to help you with your 2021 Stay
We offer 2, 3, 4 and 7 night stays.
Check Availability: Since our home and cabin availability changes so rapidly, we now have a simple blue availability form on each page of our website for guests to check availability as soon as possible at their convenience or call our Reservation Number: 218-835-4552 or 218-553-0210 and will be more than happy to help.
Make a Reservation: All reservations are now reserved on a secure online payment system. Guests are responsible for the entire period booked. A 50% deposit is required to make a reservation more than 120 days out from stay. Within 120 days from stay, the full balance is collected at time of reservation. Our reservation process is very simple. To reserve a home/cabin, submit a blue availability inquiry request from any page of website or call us and we will reply with an aproved reservation quote. Guests will then be sent a payment link for guests to conveniently pay with a Visa, Mastercard or Discover credit card and your stay is approved and arrangements have been made. All reservations are subject to state and local taxes. All stays include quality activities and amenities that are sure to enhance your experience and benefit while staying at White Birch Resort. All stays receive over 30 all-inclusive resort activities, amenities, maps, area brochures and much more. White Birch Resort does not charge a cleaning fee.

Extra Persons Charge: Extra Person Charge is $50/day or $200/week per person over the base rate.
Visitor(s) Policy: White Birch Resort is a private facility maintained to serve only our paid REGISTERED OVERNIGHT GUESTS. Due to Minnesota Health and Licensing Regulations and resort guest capacity, White Birch Resort DOES NOT ALLOW ANY visitor(s). We do not allow any substituting/exchanging/switching out and/or replacing of any guests during stay. Guests cannot exceed the maximum capacity of any rental.
NOT Allowed at Resort : Pets, Jet skis, ATV's, Drones, Fireworks. No Smoking/Vaping allowed in any buildings.
Gas at resort: If you bring gas it has to be stored in your vehicle or boat due to insurance regulations.
Quiet Hours: White Birch Resort prohibits any loud parties or excessive drinking that could disrupt the vacations of other resort guests at any time of a stay, day or night. Quiet time is from 10pm to 9am. Guests are encouraged and welcome to continue enjoying and playing outside on the resort late into the evening. We just ask our guests to please keep it respectfully quiet as to not have any complaints.
Upon Arrival: For the time being, since full payment of balance for those reservations has already been made, your guests can go directly to their rental and settle in. Our standard reservation check iin form will be available in the rental to fill out and you can drop off at office by the end of your arrival day.
An approved credit card # will be left on file to cover any unpaid balances or incidentals, such as, watercraft rental gas, excessive cleaning, damage or loss resulting from guests stay. No refund will be given for early departures. Key(s) to rentals will be left in your home on check in day on your table when you arrive. All units are Smoke-Free per Beltrami County ordinance -smoking allowed outside.
WI-FI: The resort has FREE WI-FI access if you need to check in with the world. However, we have limited bandwidth because we are in a remote area. That means we make every effort to have it usually reach in the rentals on most devices but it isn't always guaranteed. Best reception is on laptops. You can find access in the White Birch Resort office and hot spots around the resort grounds.
Cancellations: As a courtesy, your deposit minus a $400 cancellation fee will be refunded when the following requirements are met on cancellations made more than 120 days before arrival. FIRM.
1) Reservation cancellations must be made in writing and received by WBR more than 120 days before arrival date. No phone or email cancellations are accepted for any reason.
2) When ALL resort vacancies are filled for that time slot at normal season rates.
3)We do not accept cancellations due to weather, natural disasters and/or pandemic for any reason.
If these requirements above are not met, deposits will not be refunded and the customer is financially responsible for the full amount of the original reservation.
No cancellations or refunds are accepted 120 days or less before arrival date for any reasons. The customer is financially responsible for the full amount of the original reservation. You are welcome to purchase travel insurance thru our OwnerRez secure payment system. You are also welcome to send someone else in your place. If there are any concerns of cancelling due to an emergency, White Birch Resort highly recommends you to purchase travel insurance thru an approved travel insurance thru OwnerRez, a reputable travel agent who specializes in travel insurance or your own insurance provider. Suggestions: Travel Guard or TravelEx Insurance
Lost/Missing Items: White Birch Resort is not responsible for any lost, forgotten or stolen items. If forgotten items are located and requested to be mailed to the owner, there is a minimum fee of $10.00 the recipient will be need to pay.
Arrival and Departure Times: Check-In 4:00 - 9:00 pm. Check-Out 10:00 am.
Please understand, we ask our check in and check out times be followed. We take great pride in providing a high standard and well maintained resort on arrival days and during stay! A 1/2 day rental fee will be assessed on any early arrivals or late departures. Thank you for your consideration! Early and/or late fee will be charged on guest credit card given on registration paperwork.
Things to Remember before Arriving: There are just a few things which get overlooked often by our guests, so I just wanted to take a moment to remind you of a few things before you arrive. We hope this may help.
If you are planning on arriving late in the evening to our resort, please remember most stores, for example, our local Blackduck grocery store may be closed to purchase groceries for a late bite to eat. Countryside Family Restaurant in Blackduck usually close at 9pm.
The only type of food you can buy for late night supper, can be found at the Timberline Sports "N" Convenient store/Shell Gas station at 218-835-4636. Examples of prepared food at Timberline; take out pizza's, sub sandwiches and convenient groceries. Please pay close attention to their hours of business.
See Area Activities page for store information. We do have a few basic groceries for sale in our office, but nothing perishable to make for meals. If you would like to purchase prepared foods or groceries late at night, you may want to pick something up in Bemidji, 25 miles south of Blackduck on Hwy. 71 on your way to Blackduck.
